Dinictis Softball Face Mask
We got the Dinictis Face Mask on Amazon after we realized that the league was not talking about the batting helmet face mask. Our daughter did not want to wear it, but after taking a line drive to the face, she happily wears it!
Key Specs

Performance
On the field, the Dinictis delivers where it counts. The open steel frame design gives a wide, unobstructed field of vision — critical for tracking grounders and fly balls coming off the bat. Despite the solid carbon steel construction, it doesn’t feel heavy during long games, and the EVA padding sits comfortably against the face without pinching. Youth players especially benefit from the unimpeded peripheral vision, which keeps them confident and aware in the field.
Durability
Carbon steel holds up well to impacts — it doesn’t dent or deform easily after taking shots off the cage or errant throws. The removable EVA pads can be washed or swapped out if they wear down. For the price point on Amazon, this mask has held up through multiple seasons of practices and games without issue. A solid, no-frills choice for youth softball that won’t need replacing every season.
